We heard so many people burned their life savings because of not properly trading in the stock market. When everybody's buying stocks, you also have a tendency to buy. When everyone is selling so are you. Unfortunately, this will get you nowhere but down.
Never allow the herd mentality to affect your judgment, look at the fundamentals and analyst recommendations. Be above the market, be ahead of the mob for you will get slaughtered if you join them.
